Harikatha
The unfortunate saying : you never know what you have until you loose it.
You can avoid this in Krishna consciousness, especially when you get enthusiastic for a service. Until the point where you understand it and keep on doing it although it represents a big effort.
For example one of the services which I personally get full enthusiastic and keep me in Krishna Consciousness, is talking about Krishna (harikatha) is something wonderful.
Reading the Srimad Bhagavatam or reading Caitanya Caritamrta, or reading Bhagavadgita, or reading the commentaries made previously by great acaryas,or talking about world themes from the point of view of Krishna Consciousness, or simply talk about services like making and maintaining nicely what Krishna had put in our hands.
All this personally is what gives me life. Through this enthusiasm i have, always I found people like you, that also want to serve Krishna and also want to make efforts. I think that these are the most desirable persons to be with, because we all need company, even the old retired people they went to the park to meet with other retired to sit and play chess or just talk about the past or politics, about the weather, so we all need someone we can´t be alone.
So the most recommended medicine for this time is harikatha. We sow so many things, for example we talk about Vrindavan, or Vrindavanita or Srimad Bhagavatam or the last poetry of Gurudeva Atulananda or we talk about the Yoga Planetarium or simply to improve the infrastructure for the visitors to our temples. We talk about introducing in the best form to our new friends the philosophy of life of Bhakti yoga.
The only thing that transforms life is something valuable is not Hatha-Yoga or naturism, some people practice it without knowing Krishna Consciousness, but the only substantial theme occurs when you perceive a mystic and incomprehensible call from the infatuation with vaisnavas, a feeling from the heart that they represent something beautiful, they are beautiful.
And of course when later some of this vaisnavas in some way they start behaving bad this is very disappointing, but sometimes others already have the lucky to understand the essence, the divinity in every person, this is more important than the fault of a self being at the end this is the only spiritual alive essence the same that makes us join together.
Krishna Consciousness promotes the infatuation of the vaisnavas, in the spiritual master, in the service and in first place promotes Lord Krishna. Although Guru Bhakti is the most safe path to reach Krishna bhakti and keep strong in spiritual life. Krishna is absolute and Krishna is everything and there are two regulative principles that are above all.
The first one is always thinking about Krishna and the second is never forget Krishna and he has been worshiped at least 5000 years and he has been worshiped by real. In this way i am a lucky man by following a tradition that is so ancient, of so much tradition and so much support from so many writers and personalities.

EL DESAFORTUNADO DICHO: UNO NO SABE LO QUE TIENE HASTA QUE LO PIERDE; uno podría evitarlo en Conciencia de Krishna específicamente cuando uno se entusiasma por su servicio, hasta tal punto que uno lo entienda y lo siga haciendo, aunque represente un gran esfuerzo. Por ejemplo uno de los servicios que a mi me anima completamente, que me mantiene en conciencia de Krishna, es hablar de Krishna (HARI-KATHA, es algo maravilloso.
Es el leer el Srimad Bhagavatam o leer el Caitanya Caritambrta o leer el Bhagavadgita o leer
comentarios hechos posteriormente por otros grande Acaryas, o hablar de temas del mundo desde el punto de vista de la Conciencia de Krishna, o simplemente hablar de los servicios como hacer y mantener bien lindo lo que Krishna puso en nuestras manos.
Todo eso es lo que a mi personalmente me da vida. Y a través de este ánimo que yo tengo, siempre me encuentro con personas como ustedes que también quieren servir a Krishna, que también quieren hacer esfuerzos, creo que son las personas más deseables para tener su compañía. Porque uno siempre necesita compañía ¿no?, hasta los viejos jubilados ellos van al parque para encontrarse con otros jubilados para sentarse jugar ajedrez y hablar del pasado o de política , pero uno necesita alguien no podemos vivir solos. Así la medicina mas recomendable para esta era es Harikatha.
Uno siembra tantas cosas, hablamos de Vrindavan, de Vrindavanita, hablamos del Srimad Bhagavatam o de las ultimas poesías de Gurudeva Atulananda, hablamos de un nuevo Yoga Planetario o simplemente mejorar las infraestructuras para recibir a sus visitantes. Hablamos de introducir a los nuevos amigos excelentemente a la filosofía de la vida del Bhakti Yoga.
La única cosa que transforma en la vida algo significativo, no es la Hatha -Yoga o el naturismo, algunas personas lo hacen sin conocer la Conciencia de Krishna, pero el único tema substancial ocurre cuando uno percibe un llamado místico e incompresible del enamoramiento con los vaisnavas ,, un sentir convencido en el corazón que ellos si representan algo muy bello ellos son muy bellos.
Y claro cuando después uno de esos vaisnavas de alguna manera comienza a portarse mal, eso es muy decepcionante, pero de repente algunos ya tienen la suerte de comprender que la esencia la divinidad dentro de cada persona, es más importante que la falla de un individuo, pero en fin de cuenta es solo esta esencia viva espiritual que hace que todos nosotros podamos reunirnos.
Conciencia de Krishna promueve el enamoramiento en los vaisnavas, en el maestro espiritual, en el servicio y en primer lugar promueve al señor Krishna. A pesar que el Guru Bhakti es el camino más seguro para llegar a krishna bhakti y mantenerse firme en la vida espiritual Krishna.
Krishna es absoluto, Krishna es todo y hay dos principios regulativos que están por encima de todo:
El primero es siempre pensar en krishna y el segundo es nunca olvidarse de krishna. Se le adora por lo menos desde hace 5000 años y lo adoran de verdad, en ese sentido soy un hombre afortunado por seguir una tradición que tiene tanta antigüedad, tanta tradición , tanto respaldo de tantos grandes escritores y personalidades.
