In the last days of October and again in early November, there were two meetings of the World Vaisnava Association. The first was in the Munger Mandir, the temple of the beloved Sadhu Maharaj, and the second in the Gopinath Gaudia Math, in the room of Srila Bhakti Pramode Puri Maharaj, the very day of his disappearance.
Meetings of the World Vaishnava Association are always a very special nectar because of the association of great Vaishnavas. For these meetings, devotees from various countries assemble together for the same common cause: to seek to strengthen the Vaishnava union and carry the message of Mahaprabhu to more places in the world.
In these meetings, they took the chance to interview various sanyasis about social problems in India and the world, such as abortion, consumption of meat, loss of values, and the like, for Omi TV.
During the last few days in Vrindavan Guru Maharaj and the cleaning crew kept working hard on the humble service of removing trash from the Dham.
Gurudeva said something very nice about it:
“We should not feel superior to others to come to a dirty place then to leave it clean, we should not criticize those who have messed it... it is the mercy of Vrajavasis (residents of Vraja) that allow us to do a little service here.”
From the other side, Gurudeva continued working on new material for the WVA, including a poster that speaks of the union of many missions that have a single mission. The poster has been amended nearly 10 times with different updates.
On the 20th of October at Vrinda Kunja, the day began as usual with Mangol artik, cleaning the river Yamuna, and class. What made the day special was that the Acharya of the Chaitanya mission, Maharaj Vishnu, came to visit Gurudeva and a group of pilgrims.
The group was pretty big, maybe like 200 people doing parikrama together with Maharaj. After a parikrama by the temples of Vrindavan, Gurumaharaj shared all his time with Vishnu Maharaj, talking about the plans of the WVA (World Vaishnava asociaton) and the recovery and restoration of temples in Vrindavan.
On October 12th, in Vrindavan, and in many other parts of the world, the Sri Vyasa Puja Gurumaharaj was celebrated. The Vyasa Puja that was celebrated in Peru nearly a month before was based on the lunar calendar, this day was celebrated based on the Gregorian calendar.
On this special day, the program started early, as usual, after which began the offerings to Sri Gurudeva.
There were devotees of BB Tirta Maharaj, and also Sadhu Maharaj was there, amongst other great devotees that had gathered to celebrate a great Vaisnava’s arrival to this world.
The Acharayas remembered and discussed the pastimes of Srila Sridhar Maharaj, and later started pushpanjali, an offering of bhajans under the guidance of Vamsi Vadana Prabhu along with a dance by Gopi Priya dd. And to end the festival, was Prasadam, which can never be left out.
Later, Srila Guru Maharaj, exemplary as ever, worked for several hours with Shubananda prabhu, a disciple of Srila BB Tirtha Maharaj, who is helping with the translations of Omis into hindi. Gurudeva shared with him the project of Dharma and Science, the projects and projections of the WVA, and activities that were being planned for Kumba Mela.
At dusk, the group of devotees made their way to the Samadih of Srila Rupa Goswami and to the temple of Imlitala to receive the darshan and walk along the streets of Vrindavan performing kirtan.
At night, Srila Gurudeva continued his work on the Omis, organized the upcoming projects, and other areas that needed work so that all the materials for Kumba Mela would be ready.

On November 9th , Guru Maharaj traveled to Mayapur, passing by Chandigand, where he spent a day with BB Thirta Maharaj along with Gurudeva Atulananda. He would then pass through Calcutta and finally on to Mayapur.
In Mayapur, Srila Guru Maharaj dedicated himself to making interviews of Vishnu Maharaj from the Chaitanya Mission for the Dharma and Science project.
One night, in Jahnavi Kunja (in Mayapur), Gurudeva was designing the new logo of the WVA, along with some graphic designers. When the time came, the devotees honored Prashad, but Gurumaharaj continued to work on the drawings.
Later, the devotees went to rest, but Gurudeva continued with the drawing until he asked Gurudeva Atulananda to chant and to be accompanied by Ashram Maharaj who played the Charango. Gurumaharaj continued to draw.
This pastime is told by Mother Gandharvika, who describes it as something indescribable, the maximum of trascendental sweetness. It was an atmosphere of magic and love.
Another beautiful pastime of Gurudeva in Mayapur:
Gurudeva was bothered because there was a lot of trash and the river Ganges, so he organized a group of devotees to go clean.
After having removed heaps and heaps of trash, the devotees, along with Guru Maharaj, went to bathe in the clean river.
What could be more beautiful?
