November 2009 Kartika in Vrindavan first edition

On the 2nd of October, Guru Maharaj arrived in Vrindavan, and was very happy to be there again.
These days, in Vrindavan, Guru Maharaj opened up the festival in the Sandipani Muni school, as he was invited by Sripad Rupa Raghunath, a dear friend of His.
It was decided that service to the Sandipani Muni school was to be included along with the volunteer services to the Vrinda farms.
Vrinda Kunja was full of pilgrims from different parts of the world, which warmed the Heart of Gurudeva.
Paramahamsa Maharaj turned 75 years old, and had a huge party in Vrindavan. Maharaj, who has spent 17 years serving in Vrindavan, receives the devotees throughout the month of Kartik, thereby making himself loved by devotees from all around the world.
Vrinda Kunja also inaugurated a new ashram, with a yoga studio, and a conference room made of bamboo by Paramahamsa Maharaj and Madhusudana Maharaj, thereby giving more devotees the opportunity to stay in Vrinda Kunja during the month of Kartik.
On the morning of Monday October 5th, a rained very heavily on Vrindavan, which rarely happens during Kartik. Guru Maharaj considered this to be a very auspicious start to the month of Kartik.
On Tuesday, October 6th, Guru Maharaj, along with his devotees and Gurudeva Atulananda, went to Mathura to visit the river Yamuna, and Gurudeva Atulananda who, in ecstatic love for Krsna, was chanting so strongly that they could be heard in Mathura, even though they were still in Vrindavan.
